Permanent self-exclusion is a voluntary and final step intended for players who have recognized that their gambling has become harmful and wish to stop permanently. Unlike a temporary "timeout," this action is a formal commitment to cease all activity on the GG Network indefinitely.
What is Permanent Self-Exclusion?
Permanent self-exclusion is the most significant responsible gaming tool available. Once activated:
Irreversibility: The exclusion is permanent and cannot be reversed under any circumstances. Natural8 will not reopen the account, regardless of how much time has passed.
Prohibition on New Accounts: Players are strictly prohibited from creating any new or additional accounts. Any attempt to circumvent this exclusion will result in the immediate closure of the new account and the potential forfeiture of any associated funds.
The Self-Exclusion Process
Players can initiate a permanent self-exclusion through two primary methods:
1. Via the Natural8 App (Immediate):
Click Player Avatar.
Select the Responsible Gaming tab.
Select Self-Exclusion
Choose the "Permanent" option from the duration list.
Confirm the selection. Players will be logged out immediately.
2. Via Email Support:
Players can email their local support team from their registered email address.
The request should clearly state the intent to permanently self-exclude.
Note: While app-based exclusions are instant, email requests may take up to 72 hours to be processed.
Consequences of Permanent Self-Exclusion
When an account is permanently self-excluded, the following actions occur:
Access Denied: Players will no longer be able to log in or access any part of the Natural8 software.
Tournament Unregistration: Players will be automatically unregistered from any upcoming tournaments.
Balance Return: Natural8 will take steps to return any remaining real-money balance to a players original payment method, subject to standard verification and withdrawal policies.
Important Considerations
External Support: Permanent self-exclusion is most effective when paired with professional support. GG recommends reaching out to organizations like GamCare, Gambling Care (Ireland), or BeGambleAware.
Blocking Software: For added security, players are encouraged to install gambling-specific blocking software (such as Gamban or BetBlocker) on all personal devices.
