What is the GGMasters Master Rise Reward promotion?
The GGMasters 'Master Rise' promotion gives players the chance to earn extra rewards just for participating in Natural8’s weekly flagship tournament, the Sunday $150 GGMasters Freezeout
Successful players win additional prizes for bettering their previous week's result in the flagship $150 GGMasters tournament.
How does the Master Rise challenge work?
Players start a ‘Master Rise’ challenge once they participate in a GGMasters $150 tournament and their final ranking is determined. The rank achieved becomes the player's 'Start Rank' for the challenge.
To continue the challenge, the player must participate in the next GGMasters $150 tournament the following week and achieve a better finishing position than the previous week.
If a player improves their finishing position for three consecutive weeks, they will become eligible for the prize stage of ‘Master Rise’ and are awarded a $150 GGMasters ticket.
In Week 4, if they improve their finishing position again and finish in the paid places, they will receive a GGMasters $150 tournament Ticket, along with T$350, in addition to their tournament prize.
Players who complete week 4 are eligible for the final stage of Master Rise, where if they improve their finishing rank again plus achieve an ITM finish in Week 5, the reward increases to a GGMasters $150 tournament ticket plus T$850, in addition to their tournament prize.
Players who complete week 5 of the Master Rise challenge then begin a new challenge the following week, where their finishing position will determine their new starting point.
Must players participate in consecutive weeks?
Should a player not participate in the weekly GGMasters $150 Tournament after starting a Master Rise challenge, their progress will be reset and they will begin a new challenge when they next play the event.
Can Master Rise be paused for any reason?
Once a player has played their first GGMasters $150 event, their Master Rise challenge has started. The challenge cannot be paused or put on hold while it is in progress. Players who do not take part in the weekly $150 GGMasters will begin a new challenge when they next play the event.
What happens if a player does not improve their ranking?
If a player does not improve on their finishing position from the previous $150 GGMasters event, they will then restart the challenge from the beginning.
What happens if a player cannot improve on their previous result?
If a player cannot improve their finishing position from the previous week, their challenge is over. Players will begin a new challenge the next time they play the event.
This only occurs if a player finishes in one of the top 5 positions, which already carries a generous cash prize.
What prizes can be earned in Weeks 3, 4, and 5 of the challenge?
Players earn additional prizes as follows:
Completing Week 3 - $150 GGMasters Tournament Ticket
Completing Week 4 - $150 GGMasters Tournament Ticket + T$350
Completing Week 5 - $150 GGMasters Tournament Ticket + T$850
The tournament is not taking place or has not been completed.
The GGMasters $150 tournament is GGPoker’s flagship event. Should the event not take place or not be completed due to unforeseen circumstances, all players' challenges will roll over to the next GGMasters $150 tournament.
